Pinny created Plaza Partners to identify undervalued, income-generating properties with significant redevelopment potential. Before Plaza Partners was Plazacorp, a groundbreaking team of experts who made a significant impact in the real estate industry. Plazacorp had been investing in land for several decades with a focus in low-rise and high-rise residential homes.

They were one of the first enterprises in Toronto to introduce halogen lighting fixtures, porcelain tile, granite and marble countertops, undermount sinks, engineered hardwood flooring and chrome steel appliances as standard features in all their suites. Once they established a prolific name for themselves through years of putting out successful and sustainable quality homes— they were able to branch off into other subsidiaries that aim to create equally as effective smart cities and livable communities. Thus, Plaza Partners was born.
