United Lands

United Lands began its history in Canada as the subsidiary of a British company that was granted 20 thousand acres of land in Newfoundland in return for its contribution to laying the first Trans-Atlantic Cable to Canada.

In Ontario, the company rose to prominence in the 1950s with the development of several thousand acres of commercial and residential real estate in Mississauga. United Lands was then acquired by Welton Limited, a family-run company whose principals brought a further 20 years of construction and development experience to the table.

Under the leadership of the Weltons, United Lands evolved into a fully integrated real estate development and construction company with many successful projects in Florida, South Carolina, and Southern Ontario, primarily in the Greater Toronto Area.

Over 50 years of development and construction expertise has established an impressive portfolio of more than 4,500 high-rise and low-rise residences, as well as numerous commercial-industrial developments in prime locations.

United Lands has built a reputation for conducting business in a personal, hands-on and highly efficient manner. Our team of seasoned professionals has a solid and respected background in all aspects of real estate development, from land acquisition to design to construction to after-sales service.

“United Lands is among the few developers that have truly stood the test of time. We are proud to celebrate over 50 years in business.”
