Northgate Trails by Lakeview Homes in Ajax

Northgate Trails sits in the north end of Ajax, near the corner of Church Street North and Taunton Road West. Ajax is part of Durham Region, on the east side of the Greater Toronto Area, and is known for its family neighbourhoods, parks and trails.

Taunton Road is one of the main east-west roads across Durham Region, linking north Ajax with Pickering to the west and Whitby to the east. Church Street North runs south toward central Ajax, where shopping, services and the town’s recreation facilities are found. Highway 401 runs through the south part of Ajax, and the Ajax GO Station on the Lakeshore East line connects the town with downtown Toronto. Local bus service is run by Durham Region Transit.

Families in Ajax are served by the Durham District School Board and the Durham Catholic District School Board. School assignments for new streets are set by the boards, so check with the board for the address you choose once lots are released.

Northgate Trails is planned as a low-rise community with two kinds of homes:

• Townhomes, a good fit for first-time buyers and smaller households who want a freehold-style home with less upkeep.
• Detached homes, for growing families and move-up buyers who want more space and a private yard.

According to the builder’s notice of October 23, 2026, Northgate Trails homes start from the high $500s. This is a starting price and will depend on the home type, model and lot. Prices can change at launch, so ask us for the current price list.

The deposit structure has not been released yet. Deposits on new low-rise homes in the GTA are usually paid in several steps over the months after signing, but the exact amounts for Northgate Trails will only be known at launch.
