Overview
Avalon Vista is the newest phase of Minto’s established Avalon community in Orléans, in east Ottawa. Phase 3 is now on sale with limited homes remaining. The current offering is Avenue Townhomes, with available plans starting from $474,900. Minto notes that the Executive Townhomes in this phase have sold out.
Buyers join an established neighbourhood of more than 5,000 homeowners, with parks, schools, restaurants and recreation already in place.
The homes
Avenue Townhomes are freehold, 3-storey homes with 2 or 3 bedrooms. Minto says they offer more square footage than its earlier designs, with 9 ft ceilings on the second floor, larger windows for natural light and extra storage space. Plans currently shown include:
- Burnaby: 2 bedrooms, 1,515 sq ft, from $474,900
- Cambridge End: 2 bedrooms, 1,535 sq ft, from $494,900
- Dawson End: 3 bedrooms, 1,530 sq ft, from $497,900
The Alder (1,338 sq ft) and Cambridge (1,519 sq ft) are marked temporarily sold out. Each plan has A and B elevations, and a virtual tour is available for some plans.
Included features listed by Minto are a 6-appliance package, the Minto Smarter Home Starter and ecobee package, smooth ceilings on the first and second floors and quartz kitchen countertops.

Avalon Vista is near Tenth Line Road and Décoeur Drive in Orléans.
Nearby schools and parks
Minto’s gallery shows Don Boudria Park in Avalon, with a play structure, basketball court, baseball diamond and gazebo. Minto says the community is close to schools and many amenities. Check with the Ottawa school boards for the schools that serve each address.

Minto Communities is part of The Minto Group, based in Ottawa. The Greater Ottawa Home Builders’ Association named Minto its 2025 Production Builder of the Year, for the second year in a row and the sixth time overall.
