8 Rosehill is a new condominium tower by North Drive near Yonge Street and St. Clair Avenue, on the edge of Summerhill in midtown Toronto. North Drive calls it an intimate tower, with only three residences per level and half-floor and full-floor suites starting from the 10th floor. Prices start from $1,950,000. The project is currently taking registrations.
The homes
Every suite is planned for panoramic skyline and ravine views. Interiors by Reflect Architecture use carefully considered layouts and contemporary finishes, with a private entry that opens to connected kitchen, living, dining and outdoor spaces, and a principal bedroom suite set apart at the end of a private corridor.
North Drive has published one sample plan:
- Suite 1001: southwest exposure, 2 bedrooms plus, 2.5 baths, about 1,906 sq ft inside and 222 sq ft outside, for about 2,128 sq ft in total
Other suite sizes and prices have not been released.
Building and amenities
The tower rises over 50 storeys. Richard Wengle Architect designed it around classical ideas of balance, rhythm and scale, interpreted in a contemporary way. The ninth floor is set aside for amenities, including fitness facilities and an outdoor padel court, along with private dining and club rooms and an outdoor dining area overlooking landscaped gardens.
Location and getting around
Yonge and St. Clair and Summerhill are known for cafés, art galleries, restaurants, specialty boutiques and private clubs. North Drive’s neighbourhood map points to places such as the St. Clair Centre with Loblaws, Cucina Buca, Terroni Summerhill, Boxcar Social and Spinco Summerhill. The site is described as close to everything and transit-oriented, in keeping with North Drive’s approach to its buildings.
Nearby schools and parks
The lush parkland and forested trails of the Yellow Creek Ravine are close by. North Drive does not list schools, so check with the Toronto school boards for the schools that serve this address.
